Hi Friends!

With just an hour and a half left in the easy part of the DESK WIZARD journey, I thought I would make fulfillment harder for myself by giving y'all an additional option since we passed 2000% and 1000 backers!

Behold the DESK WIZARD Spacious Top Plate Option

The new DESK WIZARD Spacious Top Plate option will accept Tamiya, 60ml Primer, Airbrush Paint, Craft Paints like FolkArt AND the Hobby Holder! The Spacious Top Plate increases the size of the paint spots allowing you more options in terms of paint brands. You will still be able to store smaller paints, they will just be a little looser in this Spacious option.

This will be an option just like the Cork Holder Top Plate that you can select when picking the features and colors of your DESK WIZARDs in BackerKit.

FRIENDS! WOW!

What a ride it has been, and this is just the beginning! We have about 24 hours left in the DESK WIZARD - Miniature Painting Organizers campaign, and I want to thank everyone who has been bopping around from the beginning as well and those who recently joined the party!

We have unlocked some great colors and amazing features, and I am ENERGIZED about the future of the DESK WIZARD System. We have spent a chuck of time this week upgrading the vent system for the laser cutters so they can keep up with the increasing demand. Keep sharing and let's see how many DESK WIZARDs we are going to need to make!

STRETCH GOALS UNLOCKED

Just like with my Hobby Holder Kickstarter campaigns (here and here) I try to balance stretch goals between freebies and features. These fresh unlocks are kind of a combo!

Bolt Covers & Caps: UNLOCKED

Each DESK WIZARD - R10 and R14 you receive will come with a set of rubber Bolt Covers & Caps. I am waiting on my samples for the full photo reveal, so this is just a preview. They will each be 3/4" long and snugly fit over the bolt inside your DESK WIZARD and the end will cover the exposed bolt ends on the top of your DESK WIZARD. If you want that steel gleam you can leave them off or go for the full stealth look!

Spare Nut and Bolt Sets: UNLOCKED

Each DESK WIZARD - R10, R14 and Device Stand you receive will now come with an extra nut and bolt set! So don't worry about loosing one in the carpet after your cat rampages across your desk!

There is still almost a week left in the campaign, and I cannot believe how far we have come. When the Kickstarter launched the DESK WIZARD - Miniature Painting Organizers were already versatile, but just like our Hobby Holder - Miniature Holder and Grip campaigns, we have been able to make them even better with your help! Share it out and let's blast through the finish line :D

You beat me to the reveal of the WIZARD ARENA Stand Add-on and went ahead and unlocked it! "Just show us the photos already!" Okay. Okay. Here ya go!

The WIZARD ARENA Stand Add-on Now Available

The new WIZARD ARENA Stand Add-on is now available at a special Kickstarter discount! With the WIZARD ARENA Stand you can stack any combination of two DESK WIZARD - Rank 10s and Rank 14s to increase your storage space without sacrificing much more desk space. The unique design allows the STAND to be sturdy while still allowing you to pick up the individual DESK WIZARDs and move them if needed or switch their arrangement with ease!

There are a few minor tweaks and additional features I am looking into for the WIZARD ARENA Stand to make them even better. As soon as I nail those down I will post a picture of the STAND itself on the campaign page next to the other stand options. For now, check it out in action!

Sticker and New Stand Option Revealed | The WIZARD Arena Preview | #whatelsewillithold

Good day friends!

I realize I am a little behind on posting these stretch goal reveals (sorry), but the office reorganization took a lot more time and effort to get the new storage area in place and then reassemble the rest of the office in a new way. Because of the demand for acrylic sheeting right now extending delivery times we had to change our order to another vendor to ensure we could start production earlier with the growing campaign. This meant ordering around 750 lbs of acrylic which is going to take up a lot more room XD. Even with that change the office is looking much better and there is more space for design and production now as well and expanded storage! I even have an idea/prototype shelf now to put all my half finished inventions until I get around to them XD

ANYHOW! Here is the stuff you have been waiting to see!

Stickers!

Everyone will be receiving a WIZARD Hat Holographic Sticker with their DESK WIZARDs! I mentioned it in the comments, but did anyone else notice that the brim of the wizard hat is an artist's palette? :D

Oversize Device Stand

Every pledge will now have the option to select the new Oversize Device Stand for each of their DESK WIZARDs instead of the Standard Device Stand. The new Stand features an expanded shelf area with a wider footing to make sure even large devices, books, box art, stream decks, etc. sit comfortably in your DESK WIZARD. By switching to the Oversize Device Stand you do loose the highest tilt option, but the standard tilt option aligns perfectly with the Standard Device Stand.

$25K - The WIZARD Arena Add-on

We are at a point where I am adding items that were going to be released down the road after the DESK WIZARD launched retail... However, after reviewing the schedule, material quantities and the fact that it will be an add-on, I feel comfortable releasing the WIZARD Arena at a special discount during the campaign.

The WIZARD Arena Add-on will allow you to stack your DESK WIZARDs two-high like stadium seating increasing the storage capacity while only adding a small amount of space to the footprint. The design is still being finalized, but this is the first step in expanding the DESK WIZARD Organization System!

More Stretch Goals Achieved + Cork Adapter Preview + #whatelsewillithold

Good (insert your time of day here) Friends!

I was going to post this earlier, BUT we were so close to unlocking the next Stretch Goal I decided to wait, and lo and behold we passed the $15k mark! Now you have a new "color" variation unlocked to pick from. Also we unlocked another color right after I sent the last update, so that preview is in here as well! 

In general Game Envy news we pretty much disassembled the entire office today rearranging and adding new shelves to accommodate new products and to store everything in a way that makes sense rather than anywhere there is an open spot. We still have a ways to go, but this is the first step to free up some room for the stacks of material that will be arriving in a few weeks for the DESK WIZARD. Also it gives us a nice shrink wrap area (using a shrink wrapper is so much fun!).

ANYWAYS... here is what you actually want to see :D

STRETCH GOALS UNLOCKED

I love how the Crystal Clear DESK WIZARD makes it feel like your paints are hovering on the desk. I REALLY like this choice and hope you do to! It definitely brightens the desk.

I will be working on the $18k reveal and also I am adding in a goal to unlock an awesome WIZARD hat sticker for everyone :D

CORK ADAPTER PREVIEW

The unlocked optional Cork Adapter Add-On attaches to your DESK WIZARD - R10 or R14 reducing the paint hole diameter down to a cork acceptable size to organize all your cork mounted miniatures. You can attach one or both plates to accommodate up to 10 corks. They are designed to still give you access to all the brush/tool slots AND allow you to still store dropper bottles upside down. These will be added to the Add-On section.

Now this is the big one! Every DESK WIZARD you order will have the option to replace the standard PAINT ORGANIZER top with a reduced diameter CORK HOLDER top. This is a great option for those of you who might need cork organization more than paint organization :D
